ESIC IMO Recruitment 2026 - Apply Offline for 225 Medical Officer Grade-II Posts

The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has invited applications for the recruitment of 225 Insurance Medical Officers (IMO) Grade-II (Allopathic). This recruitment is unique as it is based on the marks obtained in the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) 2024 conducted by UPSC. Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: MBBS degree included in the First or Second Schedule or Part-II of the Third Schedule of the IMC Act, 1956. Completion of Compulsory Rotating Internship is mandatory.
• Exam Requirement: Candidate must have appeared in UPSC CMSE-2024 and their name must be in the list on the Pratibha Setu Portal.
• Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years as on 01-08-2024. Relaxation applies for SC/ST/OBC/Govt Servants as per rules.

Salary Structure

Selected candidates will be placed in Level-10 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500). Additionally, they will be eligible for Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and other admissible allowances like DA, HRA, and Transport Allowance.

Selection Process

The selection will be made purely on the basis of merit from the Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) 2024. There is no separate written exam conducted by ESIC for this specific notification. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their UPSC scores and document verification.
