Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released recruitment notification for Senior Scientific Officer (Scene of Crime) in Forensic Science Laboratory, Madhuban, Karnal. This recruitment offers 17 Group-B vacancies for qualified science postgraduates with research and analytical experience. Forensic Science plays crucial role in criminal justice by providing scientific analysis and evidence for solving crimes. The laboratory is equipped with modern analytical instruments for examining crime scene evidence. Selected candidates will visit crime scenes, collect evidence, conduct scientific analysis, prepare forensic reports, and present findings in courts as expert witnesses. The pay scale is Rs. 53,100 to Rs. 1,67,800 as per FPL-9 Cell-1 with DA, HRA, TA and other benefits. Eligibility requires M.Sc with second division in Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Physical Anthropology, Human Biology, Human Genetics, Bio-Technology, Molecular Biology, Bio-Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics or Forensic Science plus three years research experience. Hindi/Sanskrit knowledge up to Matric is mandatory. Age limit is 20-45 years with relaxation for reserved categories.
