Project Duration: Initially for 1 year (extendable based on performance and project requirements)

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct laboratory experiments and research activities
• Perform molecular biology techniques (PCR, cloning, gel electrophoresis, DNA/RNA isolation)
• Cell culture and microbial culture work
• Protein expression and purification
• Data collection, analysis, and interpretation
• Maintain laboratory records and research notebooks
• Prepare reports and research manuscripts
• Assist in training junior researchers and students
• Literature review and staying updated with latest research
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure safety protocols

Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification:

Candidates must possess ONE of the following qualifications:

Option 1: Master's Degree

• M.Tech in Biotechnology, Biosciences, Bioengineering, or related fields
• OR
• M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biosciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or related disciplines
• From recognized university or institution
• Minimum 55% marks or equivalent CGPA (50% for SC/ST/PwD candidates)

Option 2: Bachelor's Degree

• B.Tech in Biotechnology, Bioengineering, or related engineering disciplines
• From AICTE approved institution or recognized university
• Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates)

Desirable Qualifications:

• Prior research experience in biotechnology laboratory
• Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques
• Knowledge of cell culture techniques
• Experience with bioinformatics tools and software
• Publications in peer-reviewed journals
• GATE qualification

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in molecular biology and biochemistry techniques
• Good understanding of microbiology and cell biology

Salary and Benefits

Monthly Salary: Rs. 30,600/- (Consolidated)

Selection Process

The selection for Project Associate position will be conducted through the following process:
