RRB Group-D Fee Refund 2022(01/2019): LINK to Updates Bank Account Details

In a major relief for the candidates who had appeared for the RRB Group D Recruitment exam, the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have initiated the process of refunding the examination fee to the eligible candidates. The refund process has been started for the candidates who had attended the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted between 17th August 2022 and 11th October 2022.

The RRBs have also provided a link for the candidates to update their bank account details to facilitate a smooth and speedy refund process. Candidates who had paid the examination fee through online mode will receive the refund directly to their bank accounts. On the other hand, candidates who had paid the fee through offline mode will receive the refund through a demand draft.

The refund process has been initiated in accordance with the decision of the Ministry of Railways to refund the examination fee for the candidates who had appeared for the RRC Group D Recruitment exam. The decision was taken in view of the cancellation of the recruitment process due to administrative reasons.

Candidates who are eligible for the refund can visit the official website of the RRBs to update their bank account details and avail of the refund. The RRBs have urged the candidates to provide accurate and complete bank account details to avoid any delays in the refund process.

The RRC Group D Recruitment exam was conducted to fill up various vacancies in the Group D category of the Indian Railways. The cancellation of the recruitment process has caused inconvenience to many candidates, and the refund process will provide some relief to them. The RRBs have assured the candidates that they are working diligently to ensure the refund process is completed smoothly and efficiently.

About RRB Group-D Fee Refund 2022(01/2019):

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have initiated the refund process for the examination fee paid by the candidates who had attended the CBT conducted for Level-1 posts against CEN No. RRC – 01/2019 between 17th August 2022 and 11th October 2022. However, as the applications were received four years back, the bank account details may have changed, and thus the RRBs have decided to provide a one-time opportunity to update the bank account details through an “Update Bank Account Link” on the official websites of RRBs. The link will be available from 14th April 2023, 10.00 AM to 30th April 2023, 05.00 PM. The candidates are advised to carefully check their bank account details and IFSC codes before submitting the same. The refund (after the deduction of bank charges) will be admissible only after verification of the candidate’s particulars with RRB records. The same updated bank details will also be used in the future for refunding the prescribed fees paid by the candidates whose raised objections for questions/answers/options were found correct. Only one refund per bank account will be allowed, and incorrect, incomplete, and/or late claims will be summarily rejected.
