DRDO Centre for Airborne Systems CABS Bangalore announces 10 Junior Research Fellowship positions in aerospace and avionics research. CABS is premier defense research laboratory under DRDO developing advanced airborne systems for Indian defense forces. JRF positions offer fellowship of Rs 37000 per month plus HRA providing excellent opportunity for engineering graduates to work on cutting-edge defense technology projects. Candidates must possess BE or BTech degree in relevant engineering disciplines with first division marks and valid GATE 2024 or 2025 score alternatively candidates with ME or MTech degree with first division at both graduation and post-graduation levels are eligible. The fellowship is contractual for project duration typically 1-2 years extendable based on performance and project requirements. Selected fellows will work under guidance of experienced DRDO scientists on challenging research problems contributing to indigenous defense technology development. Age limit is 28 years as on 31 December 2025 with relaxation of 5 years for SC ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates as per government rules. This position provides valuable hands-on research experience exposure to advanced technologies and opportunity to contribute to national defense capabilities. The work involves literature survey experimental work data analysis simulation modeling and documentation of research findings. Fellows may get opportunity to publish research papers in national international journals and present work at conferences.
