NIMHANS Recruitment 2026 – Walk in for 02 Scientist B, DEO Posts

National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences NIMHANS Bangalore invites applications for Scientist B Medical and Data Entry Operator positions through walk-in interview scheduled for 24 January 2026. NIMHANS is premier autonomous institute under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare conducting advanced research teaching and patient care in mental health and neurosciences. These positions are on contractual basis under ICMR sponsored research project. The Scientist B Medical position offers monthly remuneration of Rs 56000 plus House Rent Allowance at 27 percent providing attractive compensation package. Candidates must possess MBBS or BDS or BVSc and AH degree with specified years of relevant experience in medical research or clinical practice. Selected Scientist will work on research project involving clinical studies data collection patient assessment and research documentation under supervision of Principal Investigator. The Data Entry Operator position offers consolidated salary of Rs 20000 per month and requires graduate degree with proficiency in computer applications and data entry work. DEO will be responsible for entering research data maintaining databases preparing reports and other administrative support to research team. Age limit for Scientist B Medical is maximum 45 years while for Data Entry Operator it is maximum 30 years as on date of walk-in interview.
