Position Details

Post Name: General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO)

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide OPD services to employees and their dependents
• Emergency medical care and first aid
• Conduct medical examinations (pre-employment, periodic, fitness)
• Participate in health check-up camps
• Occupational health services
• Vaccination and immunization programs
• Health education and awareness programs
• Maintain medical records and reports
• Referral of cases to specialists when required
• Participation in medical emergencies and disaster management

Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification:

• MBBS degree from recognized medical college/university
• Must be registered with Medical Council of India (NMC) or State Medical Council
• Valid medical registration certificate (permanent or renewable)

Desirable Qualifications:

• Post-graduation (MD/MS/Diploma) in any clinical specialty
• Experience in industrial/occupational health
• Experience in emergency medicine
• Certificate courses in occupational health, industrial medicine, or emergency medicine

Experience:

• Fresh MBBS graduates can apply
• Experience in clinical practice will be an added advantage
• Preference may be given to candidates with industrial/PSU hospital experience

Age Limit

Maximum Age Limit: 69 years as on the walk-in date (27th January 2026)

This age limit allows retired medical officers and experienced doctors to apply for the position.
